perfect place for discovering san juan. moreover, there is a parking on-site.
It was in general a memorable experience. You can relax at The Place, located nearby. Greatly enjoyed that its rooms had central heating, a safe and ironing facilities. We were so impressed with excellent service that we would definitely return here.
The hotel is very nice and the lacation was perfert right on the beach.
The only complaint was the price was over the listed price on the internet. The almost 50 dollars a day taxes and resort fee are outrageous. The room I booked was 234 a night and that was a little high I thought and then to be hit with the resort fees too. Because of the price I would not stay there again.
It was all very good - they obviously care immensely
Majority of staff cannot communicate with non San Juan guests
Good location! Close to restaurants and shops. $15 cab ride to old San Juan ( worth every penny). Nice pool and beach area. Beach bar had great food. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and nice.
The extra $45 per day resort fee, unexpected expense. Wish the cafe was open later for evening snack/coffee.
- Right on the beach. - bedrooms and comfortable spacious enough (except for the noise).
Way too loud!!! - The lobby has music as loud as a night club in the evening (made it very difficult to interact with the reception). This has to be changed. What a bad way to receive people. - open-air night-club accross the street - noise travels through doors between bedrooms so impossible to sleep when people next door are making noises. Resort fee of 15% added to the bill.
Great location by the beach.
Checkin was too slow. Overworked but friednly staff. One day at the Marriott actually lasts 19 hours only (Checkin from 4pm, Checkout until 11am). We arrived around 1pm and had to wait more than two hours for our room. Housekeeping is probably understaffed.
The services was so good to be true and the spaces are very good for me and my wife.
The comunication between the administration and the Booked.net employees. Because in the hotel they only want to sale a service that we no t want it.
It is very close to old San Juan. There are a wide variety of restaurants in the area. I felt very safe in the area.
There is a posted "dangerous shorebreak" on the beach, so the only people in the water were using body boards. I went to the beach in Carolina, about 30 minutes away.
Puerto Rican ceviche
ittle choice of restaurants
The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull at every turn. They assisted us with contacting the airline to get our lost luggage to our room, as well as calling other hotels to see if they had activities the we were looking for. Great Place!!!
My husband and I tend to stay at more luxury hotels when we go away however with the close booking of our trip the Marriott was 2nd on the list, we were pleased with the apparence it was more catered to family oriented trips.
The service of the staff was very disappointing. The food was bad and very expensive Overall, the hotel was nice but too expensive for the type of service we received
Location was good, friendly staff
Food at hotel restaurants was sub par, and as a solo 32 year old male traveler I was looking for a more mature vacation. I was constantly surrounded by well off families with spoiled teenage children. Given that after resort fees and taxes my standard room came out to almost $500 a night I would not stay here on my next trip to San Juan.
We walked to many excellent restaurants. Staff was very friendly. It was a short cab ride to Old San Juan
There was a good beach but it was not a long beach for walking. Some of the street was a little run down.
